Zen was originally made for a meditation center. It wasn't part of Digiscape at first. The series didn't exist yet.
I think I was just looking for stillness. Everything in it is slow. Light drifting through leaves, insects crossing still water, flowers blooming in silence. It was my way of trying to hold onto something quiet but persistent. Life that doesn't rush but doesn't stop either. That kind of resilience.
When the series started to take shape a couple of years later, Zen felt like it belonged. Not as the beginning of Digiscape, but as a clue to where the impulse came from.
