An early memory of motion, still alive beneath the surface.
Before I had the language to describe my artistic process, I followed a feeling. Seabed was one of the first times I tried to translate that feeling into form. There was no clear concept, only a quiet fascination with the underwater world - the way light diffuses, how everything moves slowly yet constantly, and how silence can carry weight.
Looking back, Seabed marked the beginning of my interest in building spaces that evoke sensation rather than narrative. It wasn't about recreating the ocean, but about recreating the feeling of being submerged - floating, drifting, present.
Although this work came before the official launch of the Digiscape series, it already hinted at many of the elements that define it: generative textures, interactive motion, and a sense of calm immersion. It was a first attempt at crafting a digital ecology where people could slow down, explore through their senses, and reconnect with something subtle yet deeply alive.
Even without an initial concept, the emotional core of Seabed has endured. It remains a gentle reminder that sometimes, intuition leads us exactly where we need to go.
