Lava is where Digiscape actually began, though I didn't know it at the time.

There was no grand concept. I was just curious: what does a digital ecosystem look like? What happens if you try to build nature from code, not as imitation, but as its own thing?

The result was something dense and geological. Slow-moving heat, pressure folding into itself, surfaces that crack and reform. It became the first work in what would eventually be the Digiscape series.

It's a simple origin. Just someone curious enough to try.
